I am the Managing Director of Inpress, a sales and marketing agency based in the UK. Among other things, I look after brand management and business development, develop new clients and deliver marketing campaigns (both digital and print-based) on behalf of our 40 client publishers. In the past year I have relocated and rebranded the company, organised a national sales conference and launched the company’s first trade catalogue.
I am thrilled to be one of six finalists in this year’s UK Young Publishing Entrepreneur Award, sponsored by the British Council, and will be taking part in a delegation to explore the publishing industry in South Africa in late February 2010. The winner will be announced at London Book Fair 2010. This blog will record my research, thoughts and ideas in the run up to the South Africa visit; I will also be blogging here during the trip.
